No More Cutting - Paper Art Initiative

No More Cutting is an art initiative set up to raise awareness of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).

3 Million girls and women are subjected to FGM each year against their will and without proper understanding of what is happening to them. It is an extreme form of discrimination that millions of women and girls have been affected by. 8300 girls a day are at risk of being cut.

Each unique genital is hand crafted from paper to capture the fragility and beauty of each and everyone.

The campaign consists of a growing amount of art, a website and a project film created with Plan International that was viewed over 1,5 million times on social media helping to spread the word on this important topic.

The project has been exhibition as part of Coda Paper Exhibition and also at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
